SHOW DE CARNES
Set along the waterfront in Sausalito, Show de Carnes Brazilian Steakhouse reimagines the classic churrascaria experience through a refined yet inviting interior transformation. Design Draw Build was engaged to execute a comprehensive tenant improvement of the existing LongHorn steakhouse, elevating the space into an upscale, all-you-can-eat dining destination centered on abundance, movement, and atmosphere. The design approach focused on balancing the energy of traditional Brazilian rodizio service with a contemporary spatial clarity. Existing interior elements—including booths, tables, the bar, and outdated fixtures—were fully demolished and replaced with a cohesive suite of custom furnishings and finishes. The new layout enhances circulation for both guests and servers, supporting the continuous flow of tableside service while maintaining an intimate dining experience.
A reimagined bar anchors the space, offering a visual and social focal point, while the buffet and salad bar are integrated seamlessly into the plan to encourage exploration without interrupting the rhythm of the dining room. Material selections and detailing reflect a warm, modern sensibility—layering texture, lighting, and proportion to create a sophisticated yet approachable ambiance. Back-of-house improvements included the replacement of kitchen equipment in existing locations, optimizing performance without requiring major infrastructural changes. Existing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems were retained, allowing for a targeted, efficient intervention that maximized impact while minimizing disruption.
Exterior upgrades further reinforce the restaurant’s identity. New entry doors, refreshed paint, and updated signage establish a stronger street presence and align the building with the elevated interior experience. Accessibility improvements were incorporated throughout, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests. Through strategic demolition, thoughtful reconfiguration, and precise execution, Design Draw Build transformed Show de Carnes into a vibrant culinary destination—where design supports both the spectacle and the comfort of the dining experience.
